Mr. Michael Thompson, Toronto City Councillor for Scarborough Center, Ward 37 paid a visit to the Election Coordination Center, Delta Toronto East Hotel, at 2035 Kennedy Road -Canadiana Room.

He was impressed by the way in which the Election Coordination Center was being operated by the Coalition for Tamil Elections Canada.

Following his visit to the Election Coordination Centre, he also visited the polling station at Scarborough Centre, McGregor community center, located on 2231 Lawrence Ave East, and watched with keen interest, the democratic proceedings at the polling station in his own ward. Upon observing the process he expressed appreciation for the democratic process that is being passionately undertaken by the Canadian Tamil Community.
